Our latest project meet the new edition of the version 2 flying wing drone dubbed "Long Flight Energy Endurance Scout Drone ( LOFEEDS )" .i have had this inspirational idea for about 5 years ago as the requirement and research behind this project nearly threw me out of the game. There are many things to consider taking on a project like this. I say there are few key platform points to consider in achieving this project goal. As we have been building and flying rc planes including multi rotors for almost 4 years, our team can now take a good look at this project from the angle that i think will work perfectly. some of the things we have considered are as follows

* Size and features on blue print drawing.(copy right protected so don't even think about it ☺☺☺)
* For durability the material of choice during construction (foam or fiber glass casting etc)
* Weight of the finished project plus its payload or all up weight of aircraft ( AUW )
* Energy source (battery plus solar)
* Most importantly the flight time endurance and energy efficiency tuning

This flying wing version project is going to be a multi purpose air craft for different industrial applications. Our team is much focused on the payload it will be capable of carrying in the sense of the aerial photography and scouting purposes. 
   When finished this multipurpose aircraft with its VTOL (vertical take off and landing) capabilities will be able to be assembled in an short time and launched from a limited space or ground area. we are also looking at its durability in different weather conditions example strong wind or rain application from the now available on board sensors and controllers in the market these days.
  We will not limit the brand or usage of the on-board equipment's but rather try marry or merge different electrical parts to bring out the best results( hacking most of the flight controllers and parts). As we believe in open source grounds we will make the circuit diagram available when completed to enable other to contribute to the success of this project.  
 Of cause nobody will like to lose and aerial vehicle worth thousands of pounds of its internal equipment's so it will have a parachute system and a very powerful recovery GPS tracking internal device for easy and quick recovery in case everything else fails which we doubt will happen if your do your flight checks well especially with enough battery power and good wire and device connection (very tight pin-to -pin contact to prevent power leakage and lost during flight in mid air.
